Fan speed not detected on Nvidia cards?
#1
Hi,
I recently updated my video driver to 196.75 WHQL (Nvidia 9600GT, Vista Ultimate SP2). I can't remember how it was before. But there is a temperature display only and nothing about GPU fan speed. Is this a common problem with Nvidia cards? Or is something broken with GPU fan after updating the driver.Thanks.

(I use HWInfo32's portable versions.)

Please send me a HWiNFO32 Report File + Debug File.
Then I'll look why this happens.

This is another desktop computer with an ATI card. I'll try to send the necessary files tomorrow. How can I create a debug file?

(Never mind.I found how.)

The version 3.51 could read the GPU fan and temperature for my Nvidia card. Thanks.
