Program freezing and unable to close.
#1
At first I thought maybe it had something to do with running speed fan at the same time but after running the program for some time without speedfan running I still run into the same problem.

Sometime while the program is running the manual speeds I configured it freezes and my fan continues to run at the speeds I set. Problem is I can't close the program in anyway not by ending the task or ending the process.

Also, I can't shut down my computer without holding down the power button as it sticks on the logging out screen.

Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it? This has been happening to me since the last few revisions of the program. I'm using the 64 bit version on a Alienware M14X running Windows 7.

Please check this thread for an extensive guide regarding HWiNFO fan control on Alienware systems: http://forum.techinferno.com/hwinfo32-64...ntrol.html
In your case, switching HWiNFO to the DELL EC mode (disabling LPC/EC Support) might help. Also some users reported that removing the battery (and/or inserting back) solves the problem as well.
