Solved HWiNFO confusing HDD and SSD names for the activity categories in sensors window
#1
Hello! I have observed that HWiNFO confuses the names of my SSD and HDD in the Sensors window. The names of the temperature categories for the drives are correct (first 2 categories in the screenshot), but the names of the activity categories are the same (showing the SSD's name). The first one should be the SSD and the second one should be the HDD. The values are displayed correctly, but the category names are wrong.

The problem persists in HWiNFO 5.71-3330.

Please try the latest Beta version 5.71-3330 if it fixes this problem.

5.72-3333 doesn't fix the issue. The names are different now but the activity values are inversed (the Read/Write Speed etc. are inversed between the HDD and the SSD).

Everything seems to be fine now. I mean, the order of the drives for the activity sensors is different from the order of the drives for the temperature sensors, but I don't think this is an issue. Thank you! Smile
