[solved]  HWiNFO not showing correct microcode
#1
HWiNFO is showing an incorrect microcode for the CPU, does not exist in the BIOS (latest directly from Gigabyte)

Here is the analysis of the file using UBU

Here is the screenshot of HWiNFO

sorry the forum doesn't seem to like the dropbox links for embedding or maybe the dropbox system doesn't share the link in any other way I can see.

I've attached the log and debug files, thanks

HWiNFO reads the Microcode Update version loaded into the CPU straight from the CPU.
The presence of a certain set of MCU files in the BIOS image does not guarantee it is also loaded.
Moreover the operating system can load Microcode into the CPU as well.

Thank you. It appears the UEFI image I have been sent has not loaded the microcode and 0xAA is the version in the previous image.
