gpu power consumption sensor
#1
does someone knows why does my rx 570 nitro consume 34w in idle? isn't that a little bit too much considering the reviews i saw for the same card, the idle power was no more than 15W

Double check this item in MSI AB or other HW monitor softwares. If it's in the same range then this is not an issue with HWiNFO.

That value comes straight from GPU drivers so it's very unlikely that other tools will report different numbers.
I'd rather suggest to update GPU drivers to latest version.

yes ,you're right. in every soft (gpu-z ,trixx, msi after burner) i get the same power usage like in hwinfo.. but does the driver send the right value cause it seems a little bit high for IDLE. and btw, i have the latest driver : 26.20.12001.7006  / 6/12/2019

I'm afraid only AMD can answer that question.
