AMD Adrenalin 23.3.2 Driver removed a bunch of sensors and data from HWINFO64 on 7900XTX

Appears to be fixed to me! XFX 7900 XTX Merc 310 running 23.3.2. Thanks!

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

I wonder if it was turning off my 7900 XTX because it thinks it's a secondary GPU (even though I only have one physical GPU) since I have a Citrix virtual display adapter device installed by the Citrix receiver client. Maybe that throws it off.

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

Another update, for your own edification (in case you're still interested, even though this is not an hwinfo bug) or in case any other users stumble upon this thread. It turns out that "Power & Battery -> Balanced" does not resolve the idle crashes completely. It does significantly reduce the...

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

Hello, Martin. Happy New Year. I have an update for you. Neither of these issues appear to be actually related to HWiNFO64. There is a thread about it between myself and an AMD RTG engineer here. In the end, the issue appears to be Win11 "Settings -> System -> Power & Battery -> Best power...

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

Merry Christmas, Martin! Another, even more interesting development. Not only does the display continuously wake up when on DisplayPort and hwinfo running, but eventually the display driver will crash. I spent the last couple days trying to figure out why my 7900 XTX would crash when it was idle...

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

Thanks, Martin. In that case, I'll submit this as a bug to AMD.

7900 XTX - Monitor continually wakes up when on DisplayPort and HWiNFO64 is running

I pretty much have HWiNFO64 running at all times. Was trying everything to figure out why my LG 27GL850 would continually wake and then shut off, rinse repeat, when it should be in a steady sleep state. Determined that it does not do it when connected via HDMI, but this particular monitor is...

Any way to view maximum value (high watermark) in graphs as horizontal line

Would be a nice addition to a future version. Thanks.

Any way to view maximum value (high watermark) in graphs as horizontal line

Example, GPU temp: Would see graph of "current" value over time and overlayed would be a horizonal line representing the "maximum" value.

Is HWiNFO causing the dreaded WHEA-Logger Event ID XX Cache Hierarchy Errors and sudden reboots on AMD Ryzen systems?

Not HWiNFO related exactly, but for those who found this thread in WHEA 18 search results, and were wondering how the story ends, my WHEA 18 issues (post HWiNFO fix back in February) were finally resolved. In the end, the issue was my 6900 XT was defective ... in some way that only manifested at...

Is HWiNFO causing the dreaded WHEA-Logger Event ID XX Cache Hierarchy Errors and sudden reboots on AMD Ryzen systems?

Thanks, Martin. I think you're right. Also, kudos to you for being so responsive. HWiNFO is truly excellent software and it would be a shame if WHEA 18 was conflated with it.

Is HWiNFO causing the dreaded WHEA-Logger Event ID XX Cache Hierarchy Errors and sudden reboots on AMD Ryzen systems?

I was hesitating to come back to this thread until I had root-caused the problem, or at least narrowed it down further. It's interesting that you are seeing WHEA 18 with your configuration and I agree this is very hard to trouble shoot because WHEA 18 seems to be rather generic. So many...

Is HWiNFO causing the dreaded WHEA-Logger Event ID XX Cache Hierarchy Errors and sudden reboots on AMD Ryzen systems?

I haven't had a single new occurrence of WHEA 18 since the previous post, and this is while continuing to use 4388. I changed two things, either or both of which may have been contributing to or causing my WHEA 18 events. First, I uninstalled AIDA64. I had read in a number of different places...
