Yeah, it doesn't seem to throttle it going by the clock speeds. It's running at constant 2970 to 3015 that's with +220 on the core and +1250 on memory no increase to power limit though which is why it can stay cooler than maybe it should. With a flashed galax 440w bios but only hits 335w. It's...
When you say "Triggers it" does that mean triggers the reading to say "yes" or it is actually throttling the card as well? Thanks for getting back to me as well, I know there's quite a few threads asking very similar sorts of questions.
I have read through a few threads , but I don't believe mine is a false reading. It only indicates "yes" once the hotspot hits 84 degrees Celsius, which is the thermal limit listed in hwinfo. Should the card start throttling when the hotspot hits thermal limit? I thought it would only throttle...
I did open it in safe→debug mode and couldn't see how to do the scan or export the file. I also noticed that in safe debug mode the memory junction temps are shown, so I'm not sure if getting the file exported for you would help or be necessary? Thanks.
That's why I re-installed it. I'm on v7.68 as that was the newest version on the site I could see but it does say there's a slightly newer version when launching hwinfo.
Ah. I see. I am using the x570 aorus elite motherboard. Thanks for the clarification.
I just reinstalled hwinfo and straight up started showing nearly all readings in orange, just wondering what that means as that's never happened before.
Secondary question, I have a 7900 xtx and for some reason I'm not seeing memory/vram temps for the GPU. Only GPU temp and hotspot temp are...
