    Using HWInfo with Aquasuite and Rainmeter at the same time

    fwiw i use the shared memory setting together with rainmeter, and also with 'reporting to gadget' so that FanControl can see the Asus EC sensors (i decided this was slightly preferable to having FanControl also read the EC sensors).

    PresentMon stops updating randomly

    I find PresentMon gets stuck showing 0 for all values. It seems to happen all the time (e.g. between reboots i've never not had it happen), but i haven't quite worked out what the trigger is.     FEATURE Effective clock vs instant (discrete) clock

    is effective clock also the most 'accurate' measure for GPUs (e.g. Nvidia 40xx?) msi afterburner, for example, seems to show the 'core clock', rather than 'effective clock'.
