I neglected to say that I have a PRIME X370-PRO... 5606 is the latest bios, while for PRIME X470-PRO the latest is 5854 .

New update: Unfortunately, with latest bios both case fans stopped after a few hours of idling using AIDA64, although every ASUS motherboard setting was off! Now testing HWinfo and will report.
