Not sure if.. but I have not observed the issue since a couple of weeks now. My best guess is that some of recent Windows 11 updates fixed it. Also I have been updating the Adrenalin GPU drivers. However I do not know whether or not this may have an effect.
Also it may be worth to mention that...
Yes I know about this feature. However, I don't see the point here? I do not want to be bothered by popups when gaming and activating debug in case of such a pop up would be too late wouldn't it?
Yep, observed it again today. Usual spikes on die avg temp (101,6 °C) and SOC. Didn't activate debug ofc
As for the "SOC is doubled" observation: May be true. My SOC min is at 1.240V, avg is at 1.243V and the spike today was at 2.480V.
Trying debug the next time. AMD Adrenalin was also running when this occurred. I aggree, this must be something else. Also, when I restarted HWiNFO, some CPU related sensors where missing.
Hello again,
just played D4 for like 2 hrs and core frequencies, temps and VDD (this is new) went wild. SOC was fine however :D
Hope you can cope with the german terms. Ask away if you don't.
Hi there,
just wanted to let you know that I experienced this issue myself. I wrote about it over here --> https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/readout-error-or-a-cause-of-concern.8874/post-40360
Hi there and thank you for investigating.
Just wanted to let you know that I encountered this situation today myself. Was playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider for like an hour after which I noticed:
* CPU Case temperature went up to 131 °C
* All other CPU temps showed the usual values around 80...
