Yes you are right, it's a 8°C difference of reading. It seems that Intel also never clarify about this reading/sampling problem though. I also seen that my laptop is idling at 39°C at 25°C room temperature. I think it's fine and totally okay for a laptop like you said.

I have different case on my Intel®Core™ i7-12650H. The difference between DTS reading and Enchanced reading is almost 20°C. (my CPU Package temperature under Enhanced section is 72°C at idle while the DTS section that it read 55°C of CPU Package Temperature. It confuses me.
