For sure. But even if you create a V2 of shared memory with encrypted dataset they could recover the key from the binary so it won't really be a final solution
I agree with you but the main issue with the shared memory, if I get it right, it's that it's there for anyonoe to use there is no way to make a whitelist or select who can access it... unfurtunatly
100% agree on this one, and I completely understand the economic advantage behind the difference between purchase and subscription.
Anyway, it’s his choice, I really wouldn’t mind paying once, but I won’t subscribe to a software like this for my current use.
I’ll stick to the current version...
For me lifetime = as long as the software is actively developed. I don’t mind paying yearly subscription for a “online” service that I consume. But for a software that runs 100% on my system and doesn’t require online resources it’s a no go.
A good example of "Lifetime" is the PlexPass...
Ho, I have 3 computers, 2 servers and a desktop. The 2 servers are acting as NAS and personal lab for personal training, those are the two that uses the Prometheus Adapter to export the hwinfo data to a format that can be read by grafana to graf and alerts if temperature of drive / CPU rise too...
You are correct, but I rather pay 100$ once for a lifetime license (including updates) than a yearly subscription, I’m completely allergic to this model.
I can understand the need for a Pro license and I wouldn’t mind paying for a Pro version but the “yearly” subscription it’s a no go for me. I mean you are asking for more than a third of the Office 365 subscription… This soft is great but you can't really compare to 1/3 of what O365 is offering...
With those additions (adn my mistakes on the two that where indeed there) i can now see everything! :)
I can't thank you enough, now i can continue to work on the dashboard ^^
I thought about the order also, but i am using your file with your order, the only line I have added is at the end.
I tryed moving the line at the very begining, still not see the 6 missing values.
- '(?<Entity>CPU) (?<MetricName>Package|IA Cores|GT Cores \(Graphics\))'
The only line i get...
I do use online regex debuger.. but then you figure out there is multiple variation of regex depending on language.... and.. well. As you say awfull, but usefull
From the orriginal request yes i can see anverything except "CPU (Weight)"
The only i see missing now are on the CPU Sections "CPU...
Sorry my bad "CPU (PECI)" was indeed there!! "CPU (Weight)" was the one missing...
I tryed your line and it worked, i can see all the values except "CPU (Weight)".
I added the line:
- '(?<Entity_MB>)(?<MetricName>(CPU \(Weight\)))'
But it doesn't work, damn I suck at regex... lol
Hello,
There are 2 sets of sensors that show in HWiNFO that I can't get on your adapter no matter what rule I set on set on Prometheusmapping.yaml.
I am indeed using the last version you posted a few days ago :)
Those metrics comes from the MotherBoard (all are temperature sensors):
ASUS...
What generation of Intel CPU are compatible with this function? Or is there another prerequisite (OS/Driver?)
I can see it on a Comet Lake processor but not on a Coffe Lake.
Well i can see the SMART status of the drives without the DLLs and with the previous (6.26) version of the software. That's why i was curious about what the LSI support could bring :)
