Is "GPU Memory Junction Temperature" accurate on AMD cards?

For Micron at least, the max operating temp is 95°C or 105°C depending on the part number, same as GDDR6X.

    Shared Memory Support

@tehmilcho , i shamelessly linked that topic on the aquacomputer forum as a feature request ^^' I never though of trying HWinfo remote monitoring for the dashboard but that would be pretty sweet

Any way to get readings from Corsair LINK hub connected devices, such as the new QX120/QX140 fans?

well, 2400 RPM. They have the right to reach 3.8 with a bloody racket, like the old ML

Any way to get readings from Corsair LINK hub connected devices, such as the new QX120/QX140 fans?

I have the same experience with LL120. installed on a radiator i could not feel the airflow at all no matter what speed ^^' they are just rotating light shows, not fans.

    Corsair CUE 5 + HWiNFO

well iCUE5 is a bit ligher, but still, it's a very very basic software when it comes to cooling, monitoring, RGB.. uh.. everything ^^' but nice presets yes.

    Corsair CUE 5 + HWiNFO

iCUE lol It works as a "be happy pleb that we allow your computer to carry our software".. software :p

    Corsair CUE 5 + HWiNFO

eeh.. invasive malware that one then.

    Corsair CUE 5 + HWiNFO

or disable corsair/asetek support in HWinfo options if you need to run it without accessing corsair stuff.

Question about RAM speed, please respond.

DDR = double data rate, sends data twice per clock cycle. So your 3200 is clocked at 1600, half the DDR rate. that's normal. If we look at DDR5 6000 for example, the clock speed is 3000. If you had DDR4 3600, the clock speed would be 1800mhz and so on.

    Average DL & UL

that KB5029351 preview update was released on august 22nd. it's still fairly recent. In general, unless you suffer from a bug that the incoming cumulative update will adress, it's useless isntalling update previews. Just wait for the final cumulative update that comes every month. Update...

7900 XTX Higher than expected memory junction temperature

my bad. then nevermind, the cooler sucks or there's a misplaced thermal pad.. that's GDDR6X temps on the backside of a badly cooled 3090

7900 XTX Higher than expected memory junction temperature

that's GDDR6X for you. On air coolers it will always be toasty. and the chip is encased in some kind of thermally conductive epoxy, so it's always hotter compared to direct die like the GPU is. GDDR6 was a lot cooler, but the value is totally real. With aircoolers, memory junction temps in the...

GPU Voltage Question- PCIe 12v Rail Voltage Specifically

I don't think the phanteks branded cables are pigtails, but it's worth looking when you can. the 3070 (non TI) is 220W so, one 8 pin and one 6 pin. if you see two separate cables going to the GPU, then that's all there is to see and you can't really change the voltage drop, which again, is...

GPU Voltage Question- PCIe 12v Rail Voltage Specifically

the PCI spec for a good voltage is like down to 11.4V (5%) so you have a pretty hefty margin as you already know. Of course you should never go down that low. People have this kind of voltages when using cable extensions, but when using direct connexion to the PSU there is never any problem...

Not detecting E-cores on Intel I9-12900HX CPU

you should have 16 cores and 24 logical cores in the task manager. It seems the E cores are disabled and you have one P core running without hyperthreading (15 logical processors instead of 16. For the debug file, look at the thread he quoted in his last message

    HWiNFO saved my nvme drive!

for a motherblard heatsink on top of an aircooled GPU it's pretty good actually. the problem with heatsinks is they are also heat soaks if there's something hot nearby :p a bit more airflow does wonders

Getting a ton of PCI/PCIe bus errors

if your motherboard has bios flashback functionality, make sure your usb drive is ready for it just in case :) Formatted in FAT32, the bios file at the root of the drive (not in a folder) and use the bios renamer utility to rename the file. If for any reason the bios update was to fail and...

Getting a ton of PCI/PCIe bus errors

It's always a good idea to update the bios when you first receive the motherboard anyway. early versions are usually... dodgy. Also, if you ever touched the PCIE contacts on the GPU while manipulating it, it could cause issues, i even lost PCIE lanes that way. A swipe with microfiber wet with...
