Stuck half way while installing 8.26

If you have HWiNFO configure to Auto Start with Windows you might try to add a startup delay for its task in Task Scheduler. If that won't help, I will need to see the HWiNFO Debug File.

I wonder if there is anyway to hide the title bar of the OSD gadget on desktop?

Currently the only way is to enable "Include sensor name".

HWINFO64 support for AMD Epyc 9755?

Looks like the problem is that the SMU stops responding to commands after a while (something could be stuck there). Try to upgrade the BIOS (yours is from 9/2024), it might fix the problem.

Intel TXT enabled but SMX is not present

Yes, it could be masked by Virtualization being active.

    What's going on here?

Looks like sensor malfunction. Can you attach the HWiNFO Debug File for analysis?

Failed to register hot key - stuck in loop

Try this. Start "regedit" and navigate into: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HWiNFO64\Sensors Then delete the "OsdToggleHotKey" item.

Failed to register hot key - stuck in loop

Have you maybe associated the same hotkey with some other program or action? You should still be able to go into OSD settings and turn the OSD off manually.

Crash immediately after started or changing OSD settings

Do you at least get the welcome screen of HWiNFO? If yes, you can go into Settings and "Reset Preferences". If not, run "regedit", navigate into "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HWiNFO64\OSD" and delete the entire key.

Crash immediately after started or changing OSD settings

Deleting the HWINFO64.INI will reset only few portable settings. It's better to click "Reset Preferences" in HWiNFO.

I wonder if there is anyway to hide the title bar of the OSD gadget on desktop?

Beta builds can be downloaded from the main download page - grey button. Switching to the window without title will lock the position, switching back will unlock it.

I wonder if there is anyway to hide the title bar of the OSD gadget on desktop?

It cannot be hidden in current version, it will require code changes.

I wonder if there is anyway to hide the title bar of the OSD gadget on desktop?

This would be possible to hide but in such case the window would lose capability to move it around.
  17. Martin

    Does hiding also disables monitoring?

    Yes, that's by design.
  18. Martin

Does hwinfo support RDIMM's voltage info?

HWiNFO supports this but there are some systems which have locked access to DIMMs (using proprietary mechanisms) where we cannot access the SPD, PMIC or TS.
