LogViewer for HWINFO is available !

Hi chevron, yes, could be a solution, I think best will be a CheckBox in the "Edit"-menu. But I had a look at the code and there are less value checks existing as I thought: HWINFO only log-categories with unit [FPS] are checked. If value is > 500 FPS, previous value is taken. I do this...

Hi all, first of all: I think this is not the right place to discuss GPU-Z problems, better will be there. But OK, let's finalize the discussion here. Problem is clear: up to an "End-Time" of "0:16:46" diagram looks normal, starting with End-Time "0:16:47" it doesn't. That's the border where I...

Hi edhunter, you are absolutely right. I didn't think of that at all, because I never use the "Search in ComboBox" feature. Btw: it's not a bug, it's a feature ;). The program does what it was programmed to do. But you can type "Shift+C" (capital letter C), this still works. The "problem" will...

    Troubleshooting plea for help

Still for explanation: you are right with the assumption that there are "no log values form 9:20 - 10:00", because system hangs: no logs for 36 seconds !

Hi ztmgamning, yes, you are right, but your problem is very simple: you can't use the same character "," (comma) as column separator AND decimal separator That's the case in your "sep_comma.csv" file. I think the default setting of these two parameters depends on the "Windows Language...

LogViewer for HWINFO is available !

Hi ztmgamning, strange, the last line of your logfile contains 523'450 (!) Spaces or something else, I removed this line -> now it's fine ! But the values seem not to match with the columns definitions. If you open logfile in Excel, you can find e.g. a "Physical Memory Load" >10'000 %...

    CSV format incorrect

Hi vulcanb2, do you really need Excel for "analysing" the logs? ... or do you just want to have a look at your logs in "graphical diagrams"? If yes, try my HWINFO Log Viewer: GenericLogViewer - Version 6.0 Regards Tom

Hi all, "problem" of @angarato_surion is identified, he changed the "Logging Separator (CSV)" to Semikolon ";" Must be default value Comma "," otherwise Generic Log Viewer can't read the data (setting the logging separator is not possible in Generic Log Viewer). Regards Tom

LogViewer for HWINFO is available !

Hello WinstonWoof, yes, if this feature should come, then it will surely be solved via a config file. But even there is some work to do with my quality requirements. An error handling has to be implemented, which usually needs more code than the actual function. Additionally some unit tests...

Hi @don_dolarson, OK, I see some problems in the logfile. If I open the logfile with Excel (separator ","), I see missing "header & footer information" and "empty values": ... and the Generic Log Viewer shows the data as it's stored in the logfile (e.g. the "wrong 5 or 12 V values")...

LogViewer for HWINFO is available !

Hi @don_dolarson can you please upload the original logfile, that I can have a look at it (?) ... It looks like that there is a column mismatch, e.g. "+5V [V]" curve (green) shows values of "+12V [V]". Did you edit the original logfile manually ? Or ... I think I know what was going on: you...

    File viewer

Hi @Epic753, I think that's me, the developer of GLV ;). I noticed you have already identified the root problem, I only want to clarify that there is nothing special/tricky with the GLV. All used stuff/libraries of GLV are developed by Microsoft Corporation: IDE: Visual Studio 2019...
