    Small layout glitch?

Tried, no luck. I think this is just a minor bug of HWiNFO, and I suspect it has to do with the last item of that column being a section header. My developer intuition :) It's a Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3. I was about to do that when the machine suddenly booted fine with XMP enabled so for now...

    Small layout glitch?

Hi Zach, Thanks for chiming in. I tried hitting Maximize twice but that didn't fix it. Regarding the setup: Yes, it's a cool machine :) The motherboard is a GIGABYTE TRX40 Aorus Xtreme, the CPU is an AMD Threadripper 3970X (32 cores, 64 threads) and the GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti...

    Small layout glitch?

Hi, Since I updated to the latest version of HWiNFO (v6.32-4270), it appears there's a small layout glitch: the 5th column has a scollbar where I would expect the last item (a section header) to be moved to the next column since there's space available: I've tried various things to reset the...

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

@Fatih While this is not the right topic --nor even the right forum-- to ask this type of question, the answer is yes as long as the HX434C16FB3AK4/64 memory kit is listed as compatible in the motherboard's Qualifier Vendor List (which you can find on the motherboard's page on Asus website). I...

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

It's almost surely a measurement error. You can check the BCLK frequency in the BIOS, or with tools like AIDA64:

HWiNFO hangs up when customizing values in sensor window

Let me add that the polling period is set to 2 seconds:

HWiNFO hangs up when customizing values in sensor window

Sure: it happens on any sensor, it doesn't appear to be linked to any particular one. In the sensor window, what I simply do is right-click on a sensor, choose "Customize values...", toggle "Bold" then click Ok. Repeat the process, sometimes I'll need to repeat the process about a dozen times...

    A couple UI feature requests

    1. Ah nice, hadn't noticed! Still, I think it should work similarly in the sensors window, if only out of consistency. 3. It definitely flickers whenever values are updated. I can even see it updating sensors from top to bottom, left to right. See the video in attachment. Franz

    A couple UI feature requests

Hi, Big user of HWiNFO here, really neat program. Thanks for your work and for keeping HWiNFO free. I have a couple simple UI requests, hopefully this is the right place to ask, please let me know otherwise: 1. In the sensors window, it would be nice to be able to change the display (e.g...

HWiNFO hangs up when customizing values in sensor window

"Fixed order" is active. I've enabled Debug Mode and reproduced the crash (it's really very easy to repro: just right-click on items and change their properties, like making them bold; repeat until it hangs). Please find the debug log in attachment. Franz

HWiNFO hangs up when customizing values in sensor window

Hi, I'm running HWiNFO64 v6.24-4120 on a GIGABYTE TRX40 Aorux Xtreme motherboard and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X under Windows 10. While trying to customize values (color some metrics for quicker visualization), HWiNFO hands up when right-clicking on a metric when it should display the...

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

Ah, if only! I'm running a custom unreleased BIOS provided by AMD engineers, until Gigabyte gets its act together and fix their TRX40 Aorus Xtreme (and while we're at it, Master) BIOS...

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

Ah, that's interesting. I restarted HWiNFO three times, here are the Memory Clock values: 1729 MHz, 1737 MHz, 1720 Mhz. I'm assuming you do some kind of calibration at startup? Could you elaborate a bit on the process? Out of curiosity really.

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

Bus clock is hovering around 99 MHz, going down as low as 87 MHz and as high as 105 MHz. But Memory Clock isn't fluctuating at all, which makes me think the two are unrelated. Franz

Memory clock not matching CPU-Z's RAM frequency

Hi, Why is there a discrepancy between the memory clock reported by HWiNFO and the DRAM frequency reported by CPU-Z? My RAM sticks are running at 3466 MT/s (2 x 1733 Mhz). The value reported by CPU-Z appear accurate while the one reported by HWiNFO is significantly off: Even loading the...

    Gap in layout?

Thanks for the quick answer! I haven't changed the order of anything, and Fixed Order is checked. This is a pristine setup, the only changes I have done is adding columns (due to a combination of high core count CPU and wide screen) and carefully adjusted the width of each column to be able to...

    Gap in layout?

Hello, Why is the "GPU [#0] NVIDIA GeForce..." section in the second to last column split into two, with the second part in the last column? Basically, why is there a gap at the bottom of the second to last column? Best, Franz
