got a same problem, i tried to set it on custom auto. and the fans are working if i put it on 5100 max rpm of my dell xps 15 7590 laptop.. the thing now is i want to get it back to system auto but when i click the system auto all of the fans are shut off .. then there's an indicator "inactive"...
