I set to automatic, I set to manual, no difference the fan is at max, after shutting down and removing battery at post fan goes to max and stays there....Removed the program entirely and fan stays at max. Does your program modify the HP bios?

I installed on HP8740w, set the fan speed high on manual.....it worked....but now fan continually on high and can't revert back....Any help?
