Application closes when minimized

When I attempt to minimized the application it causes the application to close. I then have to reopen it and am prompted by account control for permission as it should. I am minimizing using the "-" button. So the "-" does exactly what the "X" button does. This occurred spontaneously and was behaving normally until today. "Minimize sensors" settings have no effect. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Are you perhaps using the integrated OSD feature?
Can you attach the HWiNFO Debug File of the crash?

Thank you for responding so fast. I had to figure out how to put the application in debug mode. I turned it on and ran the app a few times, rebooted and saw the file next to the executable. All the settings are default. I'm sure what integrated OSD is. I don't see it as a setting in HWinfo. BTW, I'm not a gamer; i just built a workstation a few weeks ago and am using the app to make sure everything is working as it should. I've attached the debug file. Thanks so much.

Yes. It should be. I'll do it again and minimize/crash/restart a few times and upload the file again just to be sure.

It's sufficient to run just one time to let it terminate (crash). Don't run it again, just attach the DBG file.

Ok Sorry. Just a note: After the crash, I was unable to upload the DBG file because it said the file was in use. When I looked in task manager, an instance of HW monitor was running. I killed it and it let me upload the file. This one has the crashes.

Then it's not a crash, but the app is minimized into tray. Have you looked into the list of hidden taskbar items?

Well, when I click the icon again to run, which no longer indicates it is running with the black line under the icon, Windows prompts me with user account control to run the app (every time after I minimize.) Before today, the app ran minimized as always, with open windows tiled as usual. I have it pinned to the taskbar. Check out the screen shots.

Look further right in the taskbar and click the ^ arrow to show hidden apps.

BLAHAH! Yes. It's there. I do hate Windows. I wonder why the taskbar behavior changed? Anyway. Good enough for me. Thank you SO MUCH for your help Martin.
