Martin HWiNFO Author Staff member Mar 9, 2021 #4 Thanks for the report. The latest versions take also PCIe switch limits into account. I see now where the issue is, shall be fixed in the next build!

K kidi Member Mar 9, 2021 #5 Thanks! I have also noticed that DEBUG MODE is broken/freezes if hwinfo is running from the UNC path or network share. Moving it back to physical disk solves the problem.

Martin HWiNFO Author Staff member Mar 9, 2021 #6 You might want to disable the "Debug Write Direct" option for such case.

S steviejay Member Mar 19, 2021 #9 I have noticed this in build 7.00-4400 as well. All three of my NVMe drives show 0x multiplier when tested (I know they are x4 (3) respectively). 970Evo, SPCC m.2 PCIe SSD, MP600.
