Hi ... I looked at my performance limit reasons for my 14900K ("IA Limit Reason") and it indicates a Yes, saying the limit was due to "IA Cores frequency clipped due to thermal velocity boost".
Yet, a quick scroll down to "IA:Thermal velocity boost", it says "No". So I'm confused about the conflicting messaging.
For sure, my clocks are clipped as I'm having trouble getting my new 14900K CPU to run at 5.7Ghz (P-Cores) and 4.3GHz (E-cores) in multi-threaded test, such as Cinebench R23. "IA:Max Turbo limit" setting is also a "Yes".
No thermal throttling is observed as my max temps during these tests are about 85C (1-minute test) and TVB is overclocking disabled in bios. Max current I see is about 148A, nowhere near the 400A limit set by the Intel Defaults Profile.
