CPU microcode question...

Hi! I have an i5-10600K on an ASUS Z490 Tuf Gaming Plus. Concerned about the new security flaw platypus, i updated the CPU microcode via CMD and HWInfo shows me CPU microcode E0 but Windows and my BIOS still show CPU microcode C8. Did i do something wrong? Or updating the CPU microcode via CMD on Windows won't update it on BIOS and Windows? I updated the ME firmware with the ME tool provided by ASUS the day before yesterday. But i still need to know if i updated the CPU microcode well.

HWiNFO reads the microcode revision straight from CPU, so it should be showing the correct actual revision loaded in CPU. I don't know where/how the others read it.
