I've got an Alienware M17 R5 with a Ryzen 9 6900hx and a Radeon RX 6850M XT.
On more than four occasions now, HWINFO64 (v7.46-5110) read my CPU temps as follows (See screenshot)
It's already shown a Maximum of 150C in the past... I highly doubt this is possible. I don't ever recall lagging as if I was thermal throttling or the fans going crazy.
Is this a software or sensor issue, or do you think my laptop really hit 150C previously and 122C this time?
Before it showed 122C I was playing Forza Horizon 5 on high graphics locked at 90fps so the game usually runs between 50-70C at those settings, sometimes momentarily hitting 85C
GPU temps have never been abnormal or high.
