EC sensor on Z790 apex

Hello, I have a z790 Apex encore and for some reason the EC sensor monitoring basically broke and now it just freezes and hangs for 20 to 45 seconds, when I first installed it was working but then I upgraded to a newer version of hwinfo and now I cant get it to work, any idea why this would be an apex issue only since other motherboards I own dont have this issue? I have tried everything I can think off but I really need that EC sensor working since i overclock. Is it a bug, conflict between things or maybe a faulty apex?

No, I made sure none of that installed by shutting it off in the bios before installing windows

Then perhaps some other monitoring tool running?

there is not except hwinfo, whenI turn the ASUS EC its all laggy, it didnt use to be like that till I updated

Try the latest HWiNFO Beta version 8.13. That has some improvements and should also tell you if there's some conflict with another app.
