Fan speed not being reported on MSI laptop

I get no sensor for the fan on my MSI GE70 20E (model MS-1757) laptop. Was wondering if this is a bug or just can't be done?

This is not supported. On laptops similar as fan control applies: https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-IMPORTANT-Fan-Control
