Hangs at analyzing memory configuration if XMP enabled in BIOS

If XMP is disabled (the default), it runs normally. If I enable XMP in the BIOS by selecting the profile shown below (a built-in profile), it hangs at "analyzing memory configuration". I've attached the DBG file.
  • Motherboard: MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI
  • BIOS version: E7D91IMS.H80
  • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-7600 CL36
  • XMP Profile in BIOS: "XMP Profile 1: DDR5 7600MHz 36-46-46-121 1.400V"
  • CPU: Core i9-14900KF
  • HWiNFO: v7.72 (also tried portable beta 7.73)
I saw one post that mentioned lighting control. I haven't installed any lighting control software.

Help appreciated, thanks.

Somehow, it started working again with XMP enabled. HWiNFO shows the correct speed for the profile mentioned in my post (3800 MHz - the BIOS means 7600 MT/s if I understand correctly). The report file is attached. Since my post, I removed MSI Center from startup items. However, I can run MSI Center and HWiNFO still works. Same for MSI Afterburner. I wonder if before one of those was conflicting. I just set up this PC and little else is installed. I'll post if the issue returns in some reproducible way. In the meantime, suggestions welcome.

Yes, it looks like another application was blocking HWiNFO before. Must have been something else - system monitoring or fan control tool perhaps.
