Hard reset on sensor scan - X5680

I'm trying to see sensor readings for my system, but when I do either "sensors-only" option in the splash screen or Monitoring->Sensor Status, I get a hard crash and reset, no BSOD.

X5680 x1, one socket unpopulated
Supermicro X8DT3 dual socket motherboard
3x8GB ECC DDR3
Asus RX 580 4GB
Crucial MX500 500GB SSD
Toshiba 4TB hard drive
Etron EJ168a USB 3.0 & ASMedia ASM1061 SATA 3 combo PCIe add-in card
Windows 10 Pro x64

On the reset, the system reports that there is an uncorrectable error in one of my DIMMs and disables that RAM stick until I do a clean restart.

Before launching the main scan, please click the "Settings" button, navigate to the SMBus/I2C tab and in the "SMBus Device Exclusion" list check the button belonging to address 2E (so row 2x and column xE). Please let me know if this solved the problem.
