Hi Martin. I updated both of my Windows 10 systems to HWINFO v8.05-5485 beta like I always do when there is a new release. On system A the update went fine as usual. On system B, after the update, HWINFO opens, 3 graphs I always have open appear where they always do, but the main Sensor panel is nowhere to be found. System B has 5 displays attached. Displays 1 and 3 are 1920x1080 (display 1 is the Windows main display). Display 2 is 1024x600, displays 4 and 5 are both 1920x480, 1 in landscape and 1 in portrait. It's kind of a weird setup. HIWNO main Sensor panel always goes on Display 2.
HWINFO starts OK. If I right-click the icon in the system tray and select Sensors, nothing appears. If I select Settings, Memory Timings, or About, those panels all show up on Display 1. The options in the Main Settings panel are set the same as always. I have checked every display to make sure the main Sensors panel is not under another app or window - it's not. I use Display Fusion which shows what is on each screen when you look at Monitor Configuration. HWINFO main Sensor panel is not showing up anywhere. Should I click Reset Preferences? Thanks.
Update - Never mind. The main Sensor panel reappeared after another reboot. I still don't know where it "went".
