Please ensure the gadget is closed, and delete the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\HWiNFOMonitor" folder. Then reopen the gadget. This will reset the gadget's settings back to default.
If that does not work, then please zip and email me the following to the address listed in the gadget options:
folder: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\HWiNFOMonitor
file: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\HWiNFOMonitor.log
