HWinfo je na HP zariadeniach coraz "hlupejsie"

Martin ahoj,

Code:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> gwmi win32_battery

This forum is spoken in English, so I'll respond as such that 'everyone' can understand.

1. Lost PCH temperature. This seems to be a new firmware feature, but I'm not sure yet why the PCH suddenly refuses to provide thermal data and whether this is some intentional blocking by the BIOS. Would you be able to provide a DBG file before (PCH temperature available) and after firmware update (PCH temperature n/a) ?

2. The 2nd NVMe drive temperature is not available in the main window, but it should be displayed in the sensors window. Please let me know if you don't see it there.

3. HWiNFO doesn't use WMI to retrieve battery information, but it does directly query the battery driver. This interface seems to provide only the generic battery object and not the second one.
Let me check if I can determine how to access the 2nd battery information...

Alright sorry.

1. I am unable to downgrade EC firmware past the point where PCH temp was shown (firmware lockout)
2. The second NVMe temp is not visible in the sensors window, it is displayed in AIDA64 in the SMART section, so the drive provides the data, HWinfo just stopped displaying it (for unknown reason).
3. Thank you, with XL batteries, some Dell laptops this interface does what you see in the picture.

1. I thought you had some machine left that wasn't upgraded yet :( If TXT or Secure Boot is enabled on that system, can you try to disable it?
2. I can see HWiNFO is reading this value too. Is is perhaps hidden? Please try to reset preferences in HWiNFO to check if that might come back.
3. Unfortunately no luck yet, I wasn't able to determine how to read the other set via battery drivers.
