HWiNFO64 gets stuck when external USB drives are attached

Greetings.

HWiNFO64 passes the system analysis when I switch off my external USB drives. But when they are attached and running, the analysis gets stuck. I compared both debug reports, and the moment with the last line in the report when I kill the process via task manager appears to be a S.M.A.R.T. test.

Which of the start options would you suggest to try to disable to avoid that?

You will need to disable "S.M.A.R.T. Support" or the entire "Drive Scan" if that won't help.

I believe this also causes crashes with a driver power failure. The second or third time my Windows 10 vanishes after I tested that.
