Hi - I have a Ryzen 5950X CPU in an MSI ACE X570 motherboard.
Recently, I have noticed a random and somewhat rare problem with HWInfo64 v8.12 and v8.10. Occasionally - maybe once every few weeks - I will see my CPU temperature permanently maxed out due to HWInfo64. I have the HWInfo64 Windows Gadget on my desktop, and I will see my CPU temperature maxed at 80 DegC (the thermal limit I set in the BIOS) until I terminate all the HWInfo64 processes. If I restart HWInfo64 after all the processes have been killed, the CPU temperature in the Windows Gadget goes back to it's normal operation.
I first noticed this problem a couple of times after installing v8.12, so I then reinstalled v8.10. The CPU max temp problem just happened again in v8.10, which probably started sometime during a resource intensive video game I was playing. I saw the temperature maxed out on the gadget when I had left the game.
Are there any logs or diagnostic information I can provide to track down what is happening?
