I am currently using the portable version of HWiNFO64 Free v7.12-4580 on a Win 10 Pro v20H1 laptop and would like to monitor fan speed(s) in real time.
I am unable to see fan speeds in my real-time HWiNFO sensor readings. Am I looking in the wrong area of the interface, or is this feature not available in the Free / Portable edition? I enabled the "Show all fans (including stopped or not present)" option at Sensors | Configure Sensors as suggested by Martin in the Sep 2021 thread Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) Dont Show Chip Set Fan Speed in Version 7.11-4545 but still can't see any output for fan speeds, even when it sounds like the CPU fan is running.
