Is my SSD dying?

It says it has 2% life remaining but when I check the manufacturer app it says 58%, what do I do now? get a new drive or I'm good? it is my main drive so if it is dying I would like to clone it to a new drive
Let me know before it is too late, and the drive is just 2-3 years old, and as far as I know it is created for 140TBW but I have 50TBW

Well, this is odd because via SMART the device reports 42% but via Device Statistics 98% used endurance.
So the device/manufacturer has some kind of schizophrenia... I can't say which of these indicators is real here.

Would updating firmware be any help? can I update the firmware on the go because I have windows and all my applications on it? or this would be a problem?

You can try that, maybe it will help. It would be better to consult the manufacturer.

So I updated the firmware and things changed a bit but I'm still not sure what to think
