Lifetime license question

Hello,

Back in March I paid around $25 for an annual personal license for HWiNFO 64 Pro, until March 2024.
A couple of months later I was finding the software useful and chose to pay another $15 upfront to extend the license until March 2025. There was no lifetime license option at the time.

Then in July the lifetime license was introduced for $89. I found no way to 'upgrade' my license to a lifetime one, but this was not a problem as all of the pricing seemed very fair and I didn't mind 'losing' the extra $15 I had pre-paid for the second year that hasn't started. At least I could continue to use my existing license for a little while longer and upgrade to the lifetime one a bit later when I had more money.

However I have now gone to buy the lifetime license and notice the price has increased to $129. This means I will have paid not only the extra $15 for a year I didn't use (March 2024 to March 2025), but also an extra $40 on the cost of the lifetime license. Now it starts to feel like a lot, and only because I paid early to renew back in May. Otherwise I would have bought the lifetime license in July and saved $55 in total.

Is there anything I can do about this or was it just an expensive mistake?

Thanks

$89 for the Lifetime license was an introduction price that was prolonged until the Black Friday week.
In your case you can request a refund for the renewal ($15) that I will accept.

Thanks Martin, that makes sense. I think I just missed the detail that the $89 was a limited price, I'd have ordered without hesitating at all if I realised.
