Logic for accessing the Current DDR Clock Frequency

I would like to know how current DDR clock frequency is read from the System and printed in the summary in the Current clocks section (reference screenshot attached).

This is the GPU memory clock reported via D3D interface.

OK I thought under current clocks(MHZ) section, in GPU subsection GPU processor frequency is read back and in memory subsection the current RAM frequency is read back. Is it not that way ?
