Max Memory Size says "32 GB (unlimited)"

I'm planning to upgrade my laptop's memory. Got a few questions on what type it is compatible with (I'm new to PCs). See my CPU SKU Features below.
What does "unlimited" mean, and is it 32 GB max per slot or combined?
Also, I was told that DDR5 is faster than DDR4. If the maximum supported frequency is the same, will there be no difference?

That means 32 GB is the maximum possible for the CPU generation and your CPU doesn't have a reduced limit.
DDR4 and DDR5 are totally different technologies and cannot be interchanged. You must use the type of memory designed for your notebook. Check under Motherboard -> SMBIOS DMI.

Thanks, though I still don't know where to look at. Here are what I think are related:

If I understood it right, The maximum I can put on my RAM is a pair of 16GB modules (let me know if I'm wrong).
But I'm not certain whether I should stick to DDR4 or use DDR5 (if supported), and what speed they should be.
The CPU SKU says that the max MHz is 1600, so I'm wondering if there's a difference between DDR4 2666 and DDR5 4800 if they can only ever reach 1600 peak? (correct me if wrong)
