Hi all. When I turn on a video streaming site like Netflix or while playing certain games, my monitor goes black for about a second. It then turns back on and works as usual until the next time it decides to blink. This happens every time I start Netflix, and frequently while gaming. (This makes some games impossible to play.) It also seems to occur at random times, but never if I'm just watching something. It's only when I'm actively using the machine.
I'm thinking it could be a GPU issue, but I'm not sure how to know for sure. (Drivers are up to date.)
Or I guess it could be a power issue? Like when the GPU spins up it pulls too much power and the monitor goes out?
Can someone explain what data points I should be looking at to understand what's going on? I'm trying, but this stuff is a little over my head.
Thank you!
