pagefile usage?

is the pagefile usage correct?
opening some stuff results in 12GB virtual and 7GB physical memory used with 24% pagefile usage
windows says pagefile size is about 5GB

if i understand correctly, virtual memory is physical+pagefile
using 7GB of physical and 24% of 5GB pagefile should result in just above 8GB used but hwinfo shows 12


did i make a mistake somewhere or is windows doing some weird stuff

I'm not sure if the Total paging file size in Windows shows the actual amount of paging space used. Also if the size managed automatically its limit might be adjusted by system.
Better try to compare with Task Manager.
