PRO license too expensive for me only to display OSD sensors.

Hi Martin,

I use Hwinfo + RTSS to display 10 sensors during games.

I wanted to do without RTSS but the free version of Hwinfo only offers a maximum of 5 OSD elements. Which is very insufficient for gamers.

I wanted to buy a pro license.
But honestly €118.72 just to display 5 additional sensors is not reasonable for me. I don't need the other settings of the Pro version, just the OSD.
I could have spent 50€ max for that but not 118,72€. ;'(

So I ask you please:
- Or offer 10 sensors for gamers in the free version
- Or at worst, offer a paid version with a more reasonable price for gamers.

By offering more OSD sensors in the free version, HWINFO would become a real alternative to RTSS and MSI afterBurner.
You will gain more users of Hwinfo which is still little used for Gamers. I consistently recommend it on Reddit and others to better understand how your laptop/desktop works.

Please think about this :)

That price is for the Lifetime license which is considered a "premium" option for most passionate users . You can go for the Subscription which is a lot cheaper.

Yes, but I would have preferred a much cheaper lifetime license in the long term for my simple use of 5 additional OSDs.

Either way, you win in the end. I just paid for a subscription.

You are clever. :D

It's not about that. We could of course introduce cheap licenses, even for 5 EUR. But then the revenue won't cover the expenses and immense effort, and the project would slowly die..
And to tell you honestly - the Lifetime license is dangerous for us from business perspective. I was very hesitant to introduce this, but in the end did it to make some users happy.

I understand and that's why I didn't hesitate too long to spend a few euros for your good job ! ;)

I configured the OSD to find my gaming display preferences and I wanted to suggest some improvements that were present on OSD RTSS and which are missing in the Hwinfo OSD:

1) The text should have a black outline for better visibility like RSST.
2) The possibility of also being able to choose a column, in addition to the row.
3) The possibility of adding an empty line in the positions for better display. (I wanted to put a blank line between the CPU and GPU info in my screenshoot below)
4) The display of the unit in superscript and the same color (or another color choosen)
5) Values are displayed with 1 decimal digit even if the value decimal digits is 0 in hwinfo.

Otherwise it's great and suits my needs perfectly. :p
