Question - ME Firmware Capabilities

Can anyone tell me what "Remote PC Assist (RPAT)" is all about?
It appears in HWiNFO when the Intel ME driver is installed by the motherboard manufacturer. I thought it is an deprecated feature.

Yes, this feature seems to be deprecated and the bitfield belonging to RPAT is recently listed as Reserved, so not sure why it's set.

That's weird. As I understood it it is a function used for remote maintenance.
