Router Temps...?

I have been messing with the firmware in my router. Its an Asus RT-AC86U running Asuswrt-Merlin firmware. In the browser-based GUI, there is a tab that reports the separate temps of the 2.4 GHz, the 5 GHz, and the CPU. Its under Administration > Temperature.

Can HWiNFO read and report things like that?

Thanks!

Hi vb, thanks for replying.

If I am understanding you, I believe that is what I said in my original post. When you login and view the router settings via the browser (I think that is the firmware, or is it?), you can read the temps.

Obviously, it would be cool to also see those numbers in HWiNFO, but it might be tough or even impossible to do. And I don't know if there is one standard for routers. There are a lot of brands and models.

Sorry, I misread your OP.
There is no standard and many 3rd party F/W replacements. It's a detached piece of equipment from the PC, I suppose it could be possible, but surely not easy. Frankly, it would be easier to secure a remote thermal sensor of a indoor/outdoor thermometer inside the Router against the processor heat sink and read it that way. ;)
