Hi All,
I am trying to figure out what the difference between "SCSI version" SCSI-6 and SCSI-7 is, as reported by HWInfo, and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere what these values actually mean.
For reference, these are in relation to a few SAS drives I have connected to my desktop machine.
All are labeled SAS3 (12gb/s) drives, but one of them shows different (6) than all the others (7) when I run HWInfo.
Does anyone know what these seemingly-arbitrary values actually mean?
Thanks!
