SMBUS makes all my USB to reset.

As title.

This issue happens if I connect the USB cable of my Corsair HX1200i PSU to the internal USB header
and if I run HwInfo with SMBUS enabled.

When the PSU USB is connected and HwInfo is started with SMBUS support enabled,

If I start a game or put some heavy load on the system all the USB resets, I can hear the windows ding/dong sound of devices disconnecting and reconnecting after few seconds. All the usb resets both internal and external ones.

This does not happen if I close HwInfo or if I disconnect the HX1200i power supply from the USB port.

I tried to RMA the PSU and the Motherboard for this, but with no solution to the problem.

Any idea why SMBUS makes the USB to reset?

This is most likely caused by the "great" iCUE software which cannot run along with any other monitoring tool.

Hmm, that's strange then.. Are you sure there are no remains of the iCUE software in the system?

Hmm, I have no idea how SMBus could affect USB devices and only if the Corsair PSU is connected.
Maybe you could try to selective disable SMBus device access via the SMBus exclusion list in HWiNFO to find out which exact address/device is causing it.
Or maybe the HWiNFO Debug File capturing the failure could tell something.
