SYSTIN3 temperature gradually increasing upto 118 degrees on some days

I dont know exactly what this temperature stands for but the temperature keeps gradually increasing and goes upto 82 degrees celcius and more while normal usage, it once shot to 118 degree celcius while gaming on HWinfo64 . Every other temperature is around 40-50 degrees, PCH is around 59-60 degree C.
Board- Intel DH67BL
Core i7 2600k (not overclocked0)

I can see on this thread https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-HWiNFO32-and-HWiNFO64-v4-07-1775-Beta-released that Martin has mentioned that the reading is bogus on DH67BL motherboard. I have the same board but I am a little worried because it feels real. Like the temperature goes up slowly and shoots while gaming and stays there until I close the game. I also see this temperature as Temperature #2 on openhardware monitor.  Screenshot- http://imgur.com/a/anLVC

If that temperature seems to be real (acting based on load) then another possibility might be that this is the Voltage Regulator, which usually runs hotter. I know the board has another Voltage Regulator sensor, but that doesn't seem to much act based on load.

The Voltage Regulator temperature is below 60 degrees on Intel Desktop Utilities.  maybe it's just  bad reading like you mentioned in the other thread I linked.  I have the exact same motherboard.  anyways should I worry about this and investigate further? I am not getting any shutdowns.

Since this is an "unofficial" sensor value not supported by the mainboard manufacturer I wouldn't worry about it.
