Upgraded to HWiNFO 64 Pro-v8.20-5640, "Core Distance to TjMAX" not producing values anymore

I upgraded from an older version of HWinFO which perfectly displayed the value for Core Distance to TjMAX value on my Intel Core i7 13700K CPU. As soon as I upgraded to the latest version v8.20-5640, this sensor no longer displays any values at all. I noticed there are some other sensors that also don't have values either that used to work just fine in the older version. Do I need to revert back to the older version or is there a way to force these sensors to start working again?

I just paid for the upgrade to only find out that this latest version broke several of my sensors that used to work just fine. I regret upgrading and paying money for the new version. :( I dont even know why I upgraded. Whatever the issue, can you please fix this? I need this sensor to work like it did in the older version.

I am certain that monitoring is enabled. Logging is disabled for performance reasons. What is the latest version should I downgrade to in order to restore these sensors back to working status?

I'm running the latest version of Windows 11 Pro.

I downgraded to an older version from 2023: hwi_766.exe

Now it works. I want my money back.

Try a "Restore Original Order" in sensor settings - layout or do a full "Reset Preferences" in main settings. That should fix it. Let me know if not.

I already spent too much time on the new version. I tried that it still didnt work. I am much happier with the older version. Please refund my purchase. I will continue using my old license since everything works perfectly with the older version. I don't have any new hardware anyway so, no need to upgrade. Thank you for understanding.

@Martin just some feedback. In case you need to know, the last version that all sensors worked correctly for Intel Core i7 13700K CPU was Version 7.66 11/13/2023. I know this because I tried all the versions and realized all newer versions after Version 7.66 have the same issues with the broken sensors. Simply installing the older version fixed the broken sensors instantly. Hopefully, this might help you figure out what changed to break these sensors.

I think this is rather some misconfigured custom sensor layout. Resetting Preferences should fix that.

Hi @Martin, I spent a lot of time configuring HWiNFO; preferences; such as, which sensors to disable, which sensors to disable logging, which sensors to hide, and various other settings. Is there a way for me to backup all these settings and restore them exactly how they are in case resetting all my preferences doesnt resolve this issue with newer versions?

Try to reset the settings for initial default values - in the main window of the menu program - Settings - button resetting the settings as in a screenshot, and then configure the program again hiding those sensors that are clearly not real values since they are not connected and firmware (EFI/BIOS) The system board displays either zero or maximum value depending on what its developer has chosen for this case. And look at what the program will show.

And one more assumption - did you have no updates to the system board firmware or one of the expansion boards during this time? Or their replacements? These events often lead to the surge of the addresses of the equipment, which could cause the phenomenon you observed.

In to my workstation I see all needed me sensors
