v4.12-1850 ... auto starts fan control not working

the last version it worked fine... I updated the EXE and now it does not start fan control until I click the 'fan' icon.

Same problem on both my HP laptop & my Dell desktop

I'm going to try the latest beta or go back to the last release... if I can find the link?

Please fix.

Maybe you have overwritten the INI file where you had the "OpenFanCtrlMin=1" setting stored with the update?
Please check the INI file if you have that set, if not, then add it at the end of the file.

Yup, I think you are spot on... I must have overwritten the INI.

Can you expose that setting in the GUI? It is SOOOO useful!

btw... thx for the great app. I used Speedfan for a long time until I got tired of it not working properly and it took me a few hours to find HWinfo. Only found it after I searched for 'speed control hp laptop' an pulled up an old post on a laptop forum.

You are a hidden gem!
 
That's intentional, because fan control is not an official HWiNFO feature. It's implemented only for very few certain models.
