What does auto shutdown look like?

Hi
I set Hwinfo to shut my PC down when certain limits are hit. The problem is my PC shut down, but I cannot tell if it was Hwinfo that did it or something else.
When you set Hwinfo to shut your PC down, is it the slow shutdown we normally see, or does it just cut the power in an instant? I thought it would be the slow Windows shutdown, but my PC just basically crashed/cut power.

Thanks

HWiNFO doesn't directly shutdown the system upon some alert. So you must be doing this by running some custom program on alert action.
You can use the "Log alerts into:" feature to determine if the alert was hit.

Hi
I did set it to "Run program" and picked "shutdown.exe" The PC went off, but I thought it would be the normal Windows shutdown, not an instant shutdown. Event viewer just lists 41 kernel power. Unsure if its the program that shut it down so fast or something else that caused it.
I have now set Log into.
