Where is this sensor actually located?

I only recently noticed this sensor, labeled just "CPU." On every boot it starts at 39C and slowly rises until it peaks at around 50C. I've never seen it decrease. It's present in both official and beta versions. It's definitely not the CPU. Anybody know what this actually is?

I think that's your CPU package temp but I'm not sure what difference there is between the "Motherboard" package reading and the "CPU" package temp.

If that value is in sync with CPU Core or CPU Package temperatures, then it's the internal CPU temperature. Otherwise it's the external CPU temperature (a sensor close/inside the CPU socket).

Thanks for the responses. I'm now fairly sure it's reporting the MOSFET/VRM temperature and is mislabeled as CPU.
