z370 chipset shows Kaby Lake?

Hi all,

Not sure if this counts as a bug report so I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum but I didn't know where else to post.

The HWinfo System Summary displays my motherboard correctly (ASRock Z370 Extreme4) but then below that next to chipset it says Intel Z370 (Kaby Lake). Isn't Z370 Coffee Lake?

Also, this isn't really relevant to the thread title but I don't see any information besides basic names of devices in the main HWiNFO64 window, only the system summary. For instance if I click Intel Core i7-8700K, on the right it displays:

General Information
Processor Name:
Original Processor Frequency:

However, there is no actual name or frequency, just labels of stats with no actual stats. Is this normal?

Thanks!

The Z370 PCH is indeed a Kaby Lake chipset. There is no Coffee Lake chipset, the next one after Kaby Lake PCH is the Cannon Lake PCH.

As for the other question - that looks like a bug. Please attach the HWiNFO Report and Debug File and I will check how to fix that.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up for me.

I reinstalled and it seemed to fix the missing stats bug!

It seems to be refreshing sensor data somewhat intermittently. Sometimes it's once per second, sometimes once every few seconds. It seems completely independent of the polling period set under sensor settings > general > polling period - global. When The csv log files show data was recorded once every 3 seconds (1000ms polling period). Is this normal?

Some of the sensors might be taking too long time to read. Enable the "Profiling Time" column and then you should see which of them is causing a larger delay.
